Amelia Charles is a worship leader and recording artist from Victoria, BC, Canada. She combines her fresh new pop sounds with touches of retro soul and Gospel. Her lyrics are poetic, yet raw and real and touch on identifiable topics such as joy, pain, fear, insecurities and more. Her style calls to mind the sounds of powerhouse vocalists Lauren Daigle, Adelle, Brooke Ligertwood and Mandisa and her deep lyrics and creative content reach audiences of all ages.   

 

Amelia always loved music but had never intended to pursue it. However, God had other plans for her and has continually opened doors for her to step through. In 2018, the opportunity came for her to record her first album and in 2019 the album Lost // Found was released and was immediately well received with much attention and acclaim.  Throughout this experience Amelia’s passion for music has grown exponentially and so has her desire to continue writing encouraging music that both young and old can relate to.
